A Traffic Impact Assessment (TIA) is an engineering study that evaluates how a proposed development will affect the surrounding road network. In BC, TIAs are required by most municipalities and the Ministry of Transportation & Infrastructure (MoTI) for new developments that generate a significant number of vehicle trips.
How long does a TIA take in BC?
Traditional firms often take 4–8 weeks for a full TIA. JADE's Fast-Track TIA is delivered in 10–14 business days from data receipt. Our Pre-Application Traffic Note takes 3–5 business days.
What is the Pre-Application Traffic Note credit?
When you commission a JADE Pre-Application Traffic Note, the full fee you paid credits toward your Fast-Track TIA if you proceed. You never pay twice for the same groundwork.
